Who we are
The mission of Christocrats Academy of Science & Technology, Inc. is to:
- Educate students of all races and ethnic backgrounds for God’s Kingdom and service to humanity.
- Help parents fulfill their obligation of raising their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord.
- Assist each student in reaching his or her God–given potential in a timely manner.
- Create a Christ-centered environment for each student’s growth and development according to God’s plan.
- Prepare students to make the choices of life according to the truth as revealed by the Word of God.
Christocrats Academy of Science & Technology, Inc. provides a Christ-centered early childhood education and secondary school program that supports the development of the whole child (spiritually, physically, socially, emotionally, creatively, and cognitively). Christocrats Academy of Science & Technology, Inc. (CAST) is a 501.c.3 non-profit pre-k through 12th grade school located in Gaffney, Cherokee County, South Carolina. We are committed to providing a high-level, multi-faceted, innovative, and nurturing learning environment for children in an ever-changing technologically advanced era. With an emphasis on math, science, technology, engineering, art and robotics, Academy is dedicated to life-long, Christ-centered learning. Our high-quality early care and education programs go beyond compliance with health and safety standards, and intentionally facilitate the development of the whole child.
EXPECTED STUDENT OUTCOMES: We expect CAST students to grow to:· be fully devoted followers and witnesses of the Lord Jesus Christ;· be academically prepared for the college or career of their choice;· be engaged in impacting their world positively through their own unique talents and abilities; develop a Christian worldview and thorough knowledge of scripture to share and defend their faith;· possess the critical thinking skills, creativity and confidence to handle opportunities and adversities;· demonstrate the character of Christ in all areas of everyday life; and· love and serve others consistently. We believe that children will tap into their creative imaginations and reinforce academic concepts as they are exposed to digital learning. STREAM learning experiences and assessments involve two or more standards from Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Math, and the Arts. Inquiry, discovery learning, collaboration, and an emphasis on process-based learning are at the heart of the STEAM approach. Utilizing technology and leveraging the integrity of the field of science and the arts is essential to The Christocrats Academy of Science & Technology, Inc. Performing arts provide children with an opportunity to excel academically as they engage in cross curricula learning experiences. Students also learn to trust others and build relationships as they learn to share their thoughts and ideas with confidence, to listen to others and to learn about respect for one another through positive, constructive criticism.
